When I wrote up the Dive In Serum, the finding was that one bottle is sold under four different names depending on the retailer. The cream from the same line is worse.
| Where | What it is called |
|---|---|
| Torriden’s own US site | DIVE IN Soothing Cream |
| Amazon | Torriden DIVE IN Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream 100ml |
| Sephora | DIVE IN 5D Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream for Sensitive |
| Soko Glam | DIVE-IN Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream |
| Costco | DIVE IN Soothing Cream Set, 4-piece |
Five listings, four names, one jar — and Torriden’s own site also carries a separate page for a DIVE IN Cream without the word Soothing.
What to check before you pay: the word Soothing, and 100 ml. Those two together identify the product in this review regardless of which marketing name the shop used.
This is the fourteenth Korean product I have checked where the naming across retailers does not line up. At this point the pattern is the story: the export channel renames things, and the shopper pays for the confusion.
What it is, and how it relates to the serum
The Dive In line is Torriden’s hydration range, built on hyaluronic acid at five molecular weights — the “5D” in Sephora’s name and the “low molecular” in Soko Glam’s are two ways of describing the same idea. Larger molecules hold water near the surface, smaller ones travel further into the upper layers.
So the serum and the cream are not alternatives. They are two halves of one step:
| Dive In Serum | Dive In Soothing Cream | |
|---|---|---|
| Job | The water layer | The seal that keeps it there |
| Texture | Watery, absorbs fast | Gel-cream, slightly richer |
| Size | 50 ml | 100 ml |
| Korean price I have read myself | ₩15,680 plain set · ₩24,300 Sanrio bundle | not verified — see below |
| English searches / month | 12,100 | 2,400 |
If you have been using the serum and finding that your skin still feels tight an hour later, the missing piece is not more serum. It is something occlusive on top — this cream, or Illiyoon’s barrier cream if you want the cheap high-volume option Korea actually reaches for.

What Koreans actually reach for
| Korea | English-speaking | |
|---|---|---|
| Brand | 토리든 — 6,600 | torriden — 18,100 |
| The serum | 토리든 다이브인 세럼 — 260 | 12,100 |
| This cream | 토리든 다이브인 크림 — 30 | 2,400 |
Thirty. In a country where the brand itself pulls 6,600 a month.
That is the same pattern I found with the serum, only sharper: Koreans search the brand and pick from the bay; English speakers search one specific product a review sent them to. In Korea, Torriden is a house you shop. Abroad, it is a short list of famous items.
The practical read: the cream is not a Korean sleeper hit. It is the companion product to a famous serum, and its search volume abroad is the spillover from that fame. That is fine — it just means you should buy it because you need a moisturiser, not because Korea is quietly obsessed with it.
⚠️ A caveat on the numbers: Korea runs most of its searches through Naver rather than Google, so Google’s Korean figures understate domestic interest. I use them for relative comparison inside one market, never as a headcount.
What is in it
| Product | DIVE IN Soothing Cream |
| Size | 100 ml |
| Headline active | Hyaluronic acid at five molecular weights (5D) |
| Positioning | Hydration and soothing; Sephora files it under for sensitive |
| Texture | Gel-cream — lighter than a barrier ointment, heavier than the serum |
There is no acid, no retinoid and no vitamin C in it. That is deliberate: this is the layer that goes over actives, not one that competes with them.

Who this is for
Buy it if: you already use a hydrating serum and need something to seal it, your skin is sensitive, and you want a gel-cream rather than a heavy barrier cream.
Buy Illiyoon instead if: you are covering body-sized areas or want the best cost per millilitre. Korea buys that one by the litre.
Skip it if: your skin is dry rather than dehydrated. A 5D hyaluronic acid cream adds water; very dry skin usually needs more lipids than this provides.
Check the jar if: your listing says Cream without Soothing, or a size other than 100 ml. That is a different product.

How I put this together
Not a lab test, not a sponsored placement. What is here: the Torriden bay photographed at an Olive Young in Seoul — which is where the serum’s ₩15,680 and ₩24,300 shelf prices come from — the product names and sizes exactly as listed by Torriden, Amazon, Sephora, Soko Glam and Costco, the top fifteen Google results for the product name, and Google search volumes pulled for Korea and the United States in the same month. The cream’s own Korean price and its full ingredient list are not included because I have not read them off a label myself; I have flagged both rather than quoting a retailer’s figure as a Korean shelf price.
FAQ
Is Torriden Dive In Soothing Cream the same as the Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream?
Yes. Torriden calls it Soothing Cream, Amazon adds “Hyaluronic Acid,” Sephora says “5D Hyaluronic Acid… for Sensitive,” and Soko Glam says “Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid.” One jar, four names. Check for Soothing and 100 ml.
Is there more than one Dive In cream?
Torriden’s own site also lists a DIVE IN Cream without the word Soothing. If the word Soothing is missing from your listing, confirm before buying.
Serum or cream — which do I need?
Both do different jobs. The serum is the water layer; the cream seals it in. If your skin feels tight an hour after the serum, the cream is the missing step.
What is 5D hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid at five molecular weights, so it hydrates at more than one depth. “Low molecular” on other listings describes the same formula.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
Sephora files it under “for sensitive,” and there is no acid, retinoid or vitamin C in it, so it layers over actives rather than adding another one.
Do Koreans buy this cream?
Not especially. It pulls about 30 searches a month in Korea against 2,400 in English, while the brand itself pulls 6,600 domestically. Koreans search the brand and choose at the shelf.
How much is it in Korea?
I have not read that label myself, so I am not quoting a price. The serum from the same line was ₩15,680 for the plain 50 ml set in September 2026.
