COSRX 6 Peptide Serum: The Korean Tube and the Amazon Listing Are Not the Same Formula

The Olive Young price, the +76.4% skin-texture claim, and why the Amazon listing says copper peptides while the Seoul tube says hyaluronic acid and NAG.

Olive Young, Seoul — September 2026. 데일리 부스터 세럼 strip: The 6 Peptide 150ml at ₩26,900, the promotional SKU at ₩15,600.

I went to check this one against its Amazon listing before writing it up, the way I now check everything. The ingredient lines do not match.

That is the story, so it goes first.

Two “6 peptide” serums

On the Olive Young shelf in Seoul, the bottle reads:

COSRX The 6 Peptide Skin Booster [/serum/]
Hyaluronic Acid + NAG + Amino Acids
POP panel: 6가지 펩타이드 · 피부결 +76.4%

On Amazon US, the top six results for the same search are all this instead:

6X Peptide Collagen Skin Booster Toner Serum, 5.07 oz
Preps skin with Copper Peptides, GHK-Cu

Same size (5.07 fl oz = 150ml). Same “6 peptide” naming. Different stated actives — hyaluronic acid, NAG and amino acids on the Korean tube; copper peptides and GHK-Cu on the Amazon listing.

I do not know whether that is a reformulation for export, a renamed sibling product, or a listing written loosely. What I can tell you is that I checked the top six Amazon results and none of them described the formula printed on the Korean bottle.

🔴 So I have not linked you to a specific Amazon product for this one. Every other review on this site links straight to an ASIN. Here the link goes to search results, because sending you to a differently-formulated serum would be worse than making you look.

What the Korean shelf charges

From the electronic price labels, read on 3 September 2026:

Item Price
더 6 펩타이드 세럼 150ml, 데일리 ₩46,000 → ₩32,200 → ₩26,900 (to 31 Oct)
더 펩타이드 세럼 단품 기획 2405 ₩23,000 → ₩19,500 → ₩15,600 (to 30 Sep)

Two peptide SKUs on the same shelf strip, at ₩26,900 and ₩15,600. Worth noting before you assume there is one “COSRX peptide serum.”

Its shelf neighbours, same strip, same day: 어드밴스드 비타민C 23 세럼 (₩18,450), 더 비타민C 23 세럼 (₩35,910), 더 나이아신아마이드 15 세럼 (₩16,580, POP: 피지량 −45%).

The shelf strip tells you the job

The category strip above this bottle says 데일리 부스터 세럼 — daily booster serum. Next to it: 잡티 톤업 세럼 (spot tone-up) and 피지 케어 세럼 (sebum care).

Korean retail sorts serums by job, not by hero ingredient. So the shelf is telling you this is the everyday layering step — the one that goes under everything — rather than a targeted treatment. The +76.4% claim is about 피부결, skin texture, which fits that positioning.

⚠️ That +76.4% is COSRX’s own instrument-measured figure as printed on the shelf display, not an independent trial result. I quote it because it is what a Korean shopper sees, not because I have verified it.

There is also a COSRX × GANADI promotion running on this strip — 본품 더블기획 with two random Hyper samples.

What Koreans actually reach for

This is the interesting part, and it is a rare case for COSRX.

Korea English-speaking
Brand 코스알엑스 — 3,600 cosrx — huge
This product 코스알엑스 더 6 펩타이드 스킨 부스터 세럼 — 260 cosrx the 6 peptide skin booster serum — 4,980
What else Koreans search 비타민c 320 · BHA 블랙헤드 파워 리퀴드 260 · 레티놀 210 · 살리실산 데일리 젠틀 클렌저 170 snail mucin, everywhere

Two things fall out of that.

First: Koreans do search for this specific serum by its full name. 260 a month is small, but it is there — which is more than can be said for the snail products. Search 코스알엑스 in Korea and the top results are vitamin C, BHA, retinol and the salicylic cleanser. Snail 92 and 96 do not appear in the top Korean searches at all, despite snail mucin being what the brand means abroad.

Second: the peptide serum is one of the few COSRX products both markets look for. So if you are buying COSRX and want something Koreans also actually use, this and the vitamin C line are better bets than the snail range.

⚠️ A caveat on the numbers: Korea runs most searches through Naver rather than Google, so Google’s Korean figures understate domestic interest. I use them for relative comparison inside one market, never as a headcount.

Who this is for

Buy it if: you want a daily layering booster rather than a targeted active, you are building a routine around texture rather than pigmentation, or you want a COSRX product that is not the snail cream.

Skip it if: you want a treatment step. The Korean shelf files this under daily booster for a reason.

Read the box first if: you are ordering abroad. Check whether the actives listed are hyaluronic acid and NAG, or copper peptides. They are not the same product.

Where to get it

  • 🛒 COSRX 6 peptide serum on Amazonsearch results deliberately, not a direct link. Compare the actives on the listing against hyaluronic acid + NAG + amino acids before you buy
  • 🛒 Shop Korean skincare at Jolse — search “COSRX peptide” (K-beauty retailer, ships worldwide)
  • 🇰🇷 In Korea: Olive Young, 데일리 부스터 세럼 strip. ₩26,900 for the 150ml as of early September 2026

How I put this together

Not a lab test, not a sponsored placement. What is here: the serum photographed on an Olive Young shelf in Seoul, the electronic price labels and shelf POP read on 3 September 2026, the packaging actives read off the bottle, the top six Amazon US results for the same product name, and Google search volumes for Korea and the US in the same month. The +76.4% figure is the brand’s own claim as displayed. Where the Korean and Amazon formulas disagreed, I have said so instead of picking one.

FAQ

Is the Amazon version the same as the Korean one?
Not by the stated actives. The Seoul tube lists hyaluronic acid, NAG and amino acids. The Amazon listings I checked list copper peptides and GHK-Cu. Same size, same naming, different formula description — check before ordering.

How much is it in Korea?
₩26,900 for the 150ml daily size, down from ₩46,000, as of early September 2026. A smaller promotional SKU was ₩15,600.

What does the +76.4% refer to?
피부결 — skin texture. It is COSRX’s own instrument-measured claim, printed on the Olive Young shelf display.

Is this better than COSRX snail products?
Different jobs, but worth knowing that snail products do not appear in the top Korean searches for this brand, while the peptide and vitamin C lines do.

Is it sold at Olive Young?
Yes — on the 데일리 부스터 세럼 strip. Confirmed in person, September 2026.
